Zoom In:  Either click once on the map or draw a box to the desired extent.

Zoom Out:  Either click once on the map or draw a box to the desired extent.

Pan:  By clicking and holding the left mouse button you can “drag” the map in any direction.

Zoom Full Extent:  Zoom to the full extent of the map.

Go Back:  Sends you back to the previous map extent.  You are always prompted with a window.  You need to click on "Retry" to go back.

Identify:  Point & click on a feature on the map; change the active layer to the feature you want to identify.  To identify some of the layers especially addresses and landmarks you must zoom in closer to identify the feature.  The attributes of that feature you clicked will be identified and reported.

Select Feature:  Make the layer active then click and hold the left mouse button and drag a box around the area of interest. The following is a list of selectable layers:  Parcels, subdivision, addresses, survey points, and etc.

Measure:  Click on the map to measure the distance between two or more points on the map or the areas of a parcel.  Look for the results in the "length window" at the bottom of the screen.

Show Legend:  Will display a legend for the map layers that are turned on at the time.

Print:  Allows you to print the current map displayed on the screen.

Normal Size:  Will display the map at a normal page size.  (If your system is slow you may want to switch to normal size.)

Large Size:  Will display the map at a large page size.  (Default screen size)
