Address List & Mailing Label Center
Metadata & Disclaimer:
This application is developed to assist the tax payers of Delaware County in creating location and mailing addresses lists and labels at various levels such as: subdivisions, townships, municipalities, school districts, and tax districts. Other criteria such as land use and occupancy status can also be combined with the above variables and the final list can then be exported to MS Excel format or MS Word labels.
1. The land use information in the parcel database is always +/- 12 months old due to the nature of appraisal work (taxes are always calculated based on previous year's improvements). Therefore, since we use land use code to select addresses, some searches conducted in this application may not contain addresses for all the "existing" uses. For example, some parcels in a new subdivision may still carry an Agricultural land use code (until those parcels are visited by an appraiser) and it is only then that the land use will change to Residential code.
2. Owner names (when location address is selected) do not exist for the following land uses: Rental, Mobile Home, Commercial, and Industrial. For these land uses, in place of the owner name, we have added "Current Resident" to all the labels.
3. Mailing addresses do not exist for the following land uses: Rental, Mobile Home, Commercial, and Industrial and therefore, are grayed out when mailing address is selected.
4. Even though some of the uses such as: Residential and Commercial Condominiums, Rental apartments, and Mobile Homes may be unoccupied, due to difficulties in obtaining this information from various jurisdictions, we assume that all the records in these categories are "Occupied".
5. Please note that when selecting for unoccupied addresses, the list will contain addresses with no house numbers.
6. When exporting mailing labels to MS Excel the parcel numbers will appear in scientific notation (i.e. 6.192E+13). To change the format of the numbers select the PARCEL_NO column, right click, and select "Format Cells..." from the menu. In the Format Cells menu, select "Number" in the Category field, change the number of decimal places to 0, and click "OK".
7. If you click the Submit button and get the following error: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options...", you have an option to change your internet security settings. To change the settings, click the "Tools" menu in an Internet Explorer window. Then choose "Internet Options" and click the "Security" tab. Click the "Custom Level" button, scroll down through the options to the "Downloads" section. Make sure that all options are enabled.
