PRECINCTS & WARDS:
The Precinct shape file was originally created from Delaware County Board of Election’s hard copy maps and a TIGER based digital file created by Ohio University. The City of Delaware Ward map was created in November 2002 and this layer along with the remaining layers were then conflated to DALIS database’s geography and are updated on an annual basis. The layers include the names of precincts, wards and their unique identification numbers (precinct).
